Amen, CL.  Although you have pushed my buttons on this subject and covered a great deal of how I feel about a "weighty" issue, I could add so much more.  Since this is your blog, and not mine, I just may borrow your topic with a slight addition and post something, too.  I had a conversation with a male co-worker in regards to looks and weight of the opposite sex.  Boy, did it get heated.  We parted ways with both of our noses up in the air with the confidence of knowing we were each right.  He on the superficial side and me on the "person as a whole" side.  Looks (beauty and weight) change with time.  The inside part of us doesn't.  Thanks for saying what I feel.  I couldn't comment on your other site for whatever reason.  Time to pull out my soapbox again.
